Misiones SA already has an important part of the building ready so contractors and owners think the casino may open in three months. Presently, the roof and the facade are almost ready and the interior and parking lot are still under construction.

The casino will have a huge parking lot with access to the brewery yard. Inside the building there will be a fast food parlor and a lot of slot machines.

The company was allowed to start the construction of the casino one year after it bought the land, because several neighbors opposed the installation of the casino. The rejection of the project leaded to a referendum on April 23rd. The owners of the casino won the referendum.

After the polemic, the Montecarlo neighbors are anxious and waiting for the finalization of the construction, which is being made in record time, because workers work on holidays, weekends and even at night.

A lot of people think that the casino will help tourism and become an attraction to add to the “Provincial Flower and National Orchid Festival”.
