The Princess of Asturias has been allowed home with the Infanta Leonor today. The couple left Ruber International Clinic at ten past twelve today, a week after the birth. The clinic say the Princess’ recovery has been normal and that she is now breast feeding Leonor. The Prince has remained with his wife and daughter the entire time since the birth, with the exception of attending two official engagements on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Princess told the press that of all the girls names they had on their list, the Prince had always liked Leonor – and that he was quite convinced – and excited that she be named Leonor, and that she was really happy with that.
The first pictures of the Infanta show her with a full head of light brown hair, and blue eyes. The second in line to the throne met the press for a mere ten minutes. There were more than 300 journalists gathered outside the clinic, together with hundreds of other well-wishers.
